SUPREME SPEEDSTER's latest run suggests that he may prove capable of escaping his downward spiral and he's put forwards ahead of Ask Jenny and Itsher. Ask Jenny is partnered by a jockey that rides this track well but she has proved difficult to win with and is opposable given that she's likely to be unattractively priced for one with her profile. Itsher has improved for the fitting of blinkers to finish runner-up the last twice; she didn't do anything wrong at Salisbury and could take all the beating if handling the undulations. In spite of that, it may be worth taking a chance with Tony Newcombe's runner who has plummeted from a mark of 85 in 2006 to his current perch of 47. He showed his first signs of form in a while when chasing home the bang in-form Caribbean Coral in a course and distance seller and could build on that back in handicap company. Others to bear in mind include Jonny Ebeneezer, Tadlil and Ile Royale but Supreme Speedster gets the nod.
