Dandy Nicholls won this race last year, and has a great chance of landing it again given he's got four runners, but the one of his we like the best is LEGAL EAGLE, who's got the best form coming into this, and gets the vote over stablemate Indian Trail and Wyatt Earp in what's a decent looking contest. Legal Eagle can improve on two recent seconds in his first two runs for the trainer after being switched from John Gosden's stable after being sold for ¿6,000, just a couple of years after changing hands for 300,000 Guineas. The low draw might be a negative, but at least he's shown some decent form this year. On jockey bookings, Indian Trail would probably be the yard's first string; he's more than paid his way over the years, but hasn't won for nigh on two years. He may prefer five furlongs though. Wyatt Earp ran well on debut for the Salmon yard after previously being with Richard Fahey. He was placed without the usual help of the blinkers and they stay off again. He's the highest rated of our trio. However we think Dandy Nicholls will be in the winners' enclosure, together with Legal Eagle.
