CAPE QUARTER looks to be the one on here, and is selected at the expense of Handsome Falcon and Come And Go. Willie Haggas' charge is having only his third run, and is by far the least experienced. A winner on his last run, albeit on the Fibresand at Southwell, he's got nearly a stone in hand on the top weight, Snow Bay. He's the yard's only runner on the card, so they must think it's worth the diesel to come so far north. He may be held up to pounce late, and he certainly stays on strongly, so the step up in trip shouldn't be a problem. Another winner last time out is Come And Go, who won a lower grade contest over course and distance a week ago, for which he's gone up 5lbs. Handsome Falcon has obvious ability, and from a positive draw, but he's never won off such a high mark, but has previously got on well with Freddie Tylicki, who rides him for the first time in 18 months. You can make a case for a number, but if stripping fit following a winter's schooling, we think it'll go the way of Cape Quarter.
