DESTINYS DREAM has looked very unlucky on her last two visits to the track but can gain her supporters compensation by beating Follow The Flag, Brockfield and Bollin Greta. Our selection was ahead of Brockfield when they took in a handicap at Newcastle and she may well have won but for being trapped on the rail when the winner kicked clear. She's up 3lbs in the ratings but that may not have stopped her last time and, whilst this is arguably tougher, her price should reflect that and therefore represent good value. Follow The Flag won nicely under this rider last time and a 4lb rise doesn't appear harsh. The concern with him is he's not yet won over this far, but the gelding is in rude health and looks mildly progressive so can't be ruled out. Brockfield is strictly held by our pick but the feeling is he ran flat the last day and maybe he'll have been coaxed back to his best, however he'd have been of more interest if given a little more time to regather himself. Bollin Greta ran well on her first start for almost a year last time and should have come on for it but she's going to be seen to better effect when stepped up in trip. Hunters Belt was good enough to win a bumper and can't be ruled out for a yard in decent form on this handicap debut, whilst Red Kestrel is well treated on the pick of his form and Kevin Ryan should find a race for him in time. Ubi Ace should improve for his first run in over a year but the bounce factor has to be considered and we much prefer Destinys Dream.
