The well regarded Capped For Victory should open the account at the expense of Artistic Style and Blue Oasis. While odds-on backers were crying into their beer after his performance at Yarmouth, the form of that maiden looks solid given that Bumptious and Temple Place finished in behind. There does not look to be anything of that caliber on view tonight. Artistic Style was a disappointing favourite on heavy going at Pontefract and has to give away lumps of weight to our selection today. Blue Oasis is bred in the blue and has the positive booking of Kevin Darley tonight. It is possible that a step up in trip will suit in time. Little Bob finished with a degree of purpose at Ripon on his last start and could force a place here. It is difficult to get away from the claims of Capped For Victory and we will seek not to.
