Scarrottoo has had plenty of chances but can follow up a recent success with Tap and Balerno providing stout opposition. Stuart Williams' patience was finally rewarded with a win at Yarmouth and with the stable sending out plenty of well supported winners, we will stick with the team to stage a quick step back into the winners' enclosure. Tap dug deep to take a 40/1 scalp at Musselborough under today's apprentice. Balerno was just a length-and-a-half behind on that occasion and the two reoppose along with second placed Mount Royale. Mount Royale may well appreciate this faster surface so is given a cursory glance in the market. Trinity represents a stable that are at least sending out winners although whether the step up to seven suits is another matter. Pepper Road is watched in the market as this stable have attempted to land a couple of gambles in the last few weeks. Scarrottoo is given the nod.
