Verdict

Royal Flag is well out of this on official figures but the remaining quartet are closely matched. GRAND INQUISITOR won a Chelmsford handicap and had no problems landing the odds in a Catterick claimer but just failed to complete a hat-trick on the latter track on Monday. Mirsaale was beaten a long way in that claimer but that wasn't his form as he'd been running in Class 2 handicaps previously. He would be difficult to beat at his best though is probably worth watching for now but Lexington Law is rated 1lb lower than Grand Inquisitor and gets 4lb, though all of his three victories to date have come on the all-weather. Izvetsia's two recent victories have come in sellers and this is a slight step up in grade.
