Verdict

Show's Over was second over 2m here in May but pulled up when a short-priced favourite at Ffos Las subsequently. Cnoc Sion is 5lb lower than when a surprise winner at Bangor in the autumn but has only produced the same level of form once since when third at Leicester in February. BARTON ROSE continues her slide down the weights and, with Paul O’Brien taking off a further 3lb today, Charlie Longsdon’s mare is fancied to pick up the winning thread again, though Hillview Lad has to be a danger if a winning start over fences here last month was not a false dawn.
