Verdict

Canford's Joy scored over 7f in soft ground at Brighton last month and Brogans Bay was successful over the minimum trip at Lingfield recently. The latter can effectively race off a lower mark with an apprentice’s allowance taken into account but PERFECT SYMPHONY won over today’s trip at Chelmsford on his latest start, with a subsequent winner back in fourth, and Mark Pattison’s charge is taken to make another bold bid raised only 2lb. Grey Galleon is not badly treated but has yet to win on the all-weather while Soar Above still looks high enough in the weights.
