Ramvaswani showed improved form when finding just one too good in a selling handicap at Huntingdon last time but he remains a maiden after 22 career starts so looks best watched and marginal preference in a poor contest is for BACKLASH, with Melvino rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was well held on his return to hurdling at Market Rasen last month but earlier form on the flat suggests that he may be worth another chance in this poor contest. A market move for the lightly raced Tweed River would be of interest, while Salinas was well held at Ludlow on Thursday and he must be considered a doubtful runner. Calloff The Search has given little sign for encouragement either over hurdles or on the flat of late, while Tyndall carried his poor form in Ireland over to this country at Ludlow last time. Melvino is better than he showed at Worcester when last seen in April and he could be of interest on his first start since then but preference is for Backlash.
