Richard Hannon's runners in nurseries are always to be respected and both his representatives here, Roly Boy and Daddy's Gift, have claims but it is hard to get away from DEFINIGHTLY, who gets the verdict. Roger Charlton's colt had shown progressive form in maidens prior to an encouraging debut in a nursery at Newbury last month when narrowly beaten by Nasri, with 14 others behind him. A 5lb rise for that run is perfectly fair and the son of Diktat is taken to go one better today. Michael Jarvis continues to churn out plenty of winners including with his runner here Silent Hero, who won similar contests at Southwell and Warwick last month but he has paid the penalty for those successes at the hands of the handicapper. Ed Dunlop's Satwa Laird was well held in a valuable sales race last time and now looks best watched, while Brazilian Art was well held in a lesser nursery than this at Windsor last time and is now 1lb higher. The lightly raced Greensward and Sir Michael Stoute's Damini are others worthy of a mention but it is Definightly that gets the vote.
