Basinet gets the call ahead of Royal Master, Upright Ima, Dishdasha, Mystic Glen and Jewel Of India. Serena Brotherton is best known for her exploits on the Flat, but she can come out on top on John Quinn's eight-year-old who was an easy winner over hurdles at Cartmel in 2004. Successful on the all-weather at Wolverhampton in February, he will be all the better for his recent return to action at Hexham where he was second to Wyn Dixie. Royal Master has the assistance of Nina Carberry but also has topweight to overcome, while Upright Ima was in good form last season. Dishdasha showed improved form on his latest start, and of the remainder, Polly Gundry brings her vast experience to bear on Blandings Castle, with the ever-improving Rose Davidson on Mystic Glen who has a light weight. Not a bad contest to go out on then, and one in which Basinet can prevail.
