Resonance gets the vote over El Corredor, with Shingle Street also worth a mention. This is a poor contest in which nothing stands out at all, but at least Resonance has bits and pieces of form over timber, so could be the one to side with here. He has been beaten on the Flat during the summer, but the former Nigel Twiston-Davies inmate has experience round here and was third in a similar contest at Towcester, so although no world-beater, may come good here. El Corredor collected a handicap hurdle at Hereford in June but is now a bit high in the weights, and has shown his best form on faster ground. Shingle Street seems to have gone backwards since landing a juvenile hurdle at Bangor last September, but will at least line up fit from a fruitless campaign on the Flat, while the rest have nothing to recommend them. Any support for debutante Viscount Rossini should be noted, but Resonance looks best of the bunch.
