A very competitive way to round off the action at Southwell and DAN CHILLINGWORTH gets only a tentative nomination ahead of Aegean Pride and Fly Kiss. It would also be dangerous to write off Chjimes, even though his recent level of form has dipped way below the level he was capable of as a two-year-old. The top weight has a habit of popping up when least expected, so he is no forlorn hope this afternoon. Fly Kiss has been the model of consistency this season and can surely be found a suitable opening from her current mark. However, she does appear to have lost the absolute will to win and looks to need everything to fall into place for her. Aegean Pride is the least exposed contender on show and merits consideration for that fact alone. The daughter of Sakhee is bred to get further but, with time running out this season, she makes her handicap debut at a very winnable level. Still, she lacks the experience of Dan Chillingworth, who was unlucky not to score when he raced here in July and, having held his from well since then, the son of Indian Ridge can give James Fanshawe a welcome winner after a hatful of near misses during the last fortnight.
