A number of these have little or no experience of racing at Southwell, so with that in mind it can pay to take a chance on CHARTIST making this a successful raid for the prize-money by Richard Hannon team. Judge 'N' Jury will rightly have his supporters but he may find the selection can take his measure on these terms. From the others: Green Park and Kay Two represent different spectrums at the weights but both have feasible each-way claims at this level. Kay Two, from the bottom of the racecard, has been lightly campaigned this year and is better than he showed last time out. However, as no excuses came to light for his poor effort at Ayr, he has a bit too much to prove to carry the extra burden of choice today. Green Park heads the weights and, from just a 3lb higher mark than for his Chester success earlier in the month, he has to be respected; especially as Freddie Tylicki pitches in for the cause with his 5lb claim. However, his ability to handle the surface has to be taken on trust. His sire, Shinko Forest, has produced a plethora of capable AW performers, so it is feasible the switch will open new doors for the five-year-old. Judge 'N' Jury is seeing things clearly now and seems to be coping with all obstacles in his way. He is another course debutant but cannot be discounted while he is in such obvious good heart. However, Chartist is the most interesting contender making his first appearance on the fibresand today. The Hannon-trained gelding will be only the second representative from his yard to visit Southwell in the last five years and, as the colt has a touch of class about him, he is fancied to take the beating in this modest company.
