    Verdict

Tilapia, Cavort and First Princess form the shortlist in a competitive finale and the vote is given to Tilapia. The selection is just the type of lightly-raced 3-year-old with which Sir Mark Prescott excels and he caused an upset last time when beating the well-fancied Giant Slalom. He does have a penalty for that success but he is improving with his racing and can win again. Cavort and First Princess are closely-matched from their recent run at Wolverhampton. The latter does not look the most genuine so is opposed again, while Cavort is from a stable in good form but she is not the most consistent. Krakatau is a course and distance winner and could go well at a price, but for the winner we will stick with the in-form Tilapia.
