In depth

Verdict

Eforetta was good value for his two-length defeat of Arsad over course and distance two weeks ago and is taken to confirm that form, with Cotton Eyed Joe rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has a progressive profile and may be more than capable of defying a 5lb rise in the weights. Global Strategy ran well here earlier in the year and may do better returned to the Fibresand having been disappointing on turf of late, although he may now be a shade high in the weights. The one time Luca Cumani inmate Ahlawy, who is now in the care of Mick Easterby, could be of interest on his debut on this surface but may need a bit of help from the handicapper.
