Dil, On The Trail and Cash have all shown ability here at Southwell and are steadily dropping down the handicap, but Polar Force could be the one to thwart them today. Mick Channon's three-year-old is making his Southwell debut but did run with promise at Lingfield in September. His too subsequent efforts on the turf have been against better opposition and at today¿s weights looks to have strong claims. Cash appears to prefer Wolverhampton but does has shown solid form here in the past and could sneak into a place at a big price. Dil has gone off the boil after starting the year in good form but it would be no surprise to see this one return to his best. However the main threat could be On The Trail who¿s gallant second to Blakeset here in May makes very good reading, if he can repeat that effort must be in the shake up. However Polar Force looks the pick of the weights today.
