Verdict

Another puzzling contest to test the brain cells and after much deliberation Miss Glory Be is a tentative choice to beat How's Things and Bond Millennium. Gay Kelleway's charge has been a model of consistency and ran a cracker to finish runner up behind Prince of Gold over course and distance back in September, a repeat of that showing should be good enough to dispose of these rivals. How's Things comes here in terrific form having landed a seller here before trouncing the opposition in a better race at Wolverhampton, the drop back to a mile shouldn't be a problem and he rates a big danger to the selection. Top weight Bond Millennium rarely runs a bad race and although for the last two years he has been restricted to the turf, he does have winning form here at Southwell and can take a hand in the finish. Recent course and distance winner Barzak is also worthy of a mention but Miss Glory Be just gets the nod.
