Not a bad little race this, and one that can be taken by Angels Venture, who can reverse recent form with Feanor with a 13lb pull on their last outings against each other, while Raw Silk can Itcanbedone can fight out the minors. The selection ran well until weakening at the last when third, beaten 10 lengths by Feanor over course and distance last time out, but with that turn around in the weights he looks to have a great chance of overturning the form there and getting his nose in front with trip and ground to suit and 2lb drop himself for that latest run. Feanor should still give her running, but was just held by Italian Counsel last time out, when upped 6lb for that Southwell win and will find it very tough at these weights. Itcandedoneagain could live up to his name, but the colt had to be ridden out to a narrow success at Uttoxeter last time and an 8lb rise will also make it very difficult for him, so top weight Raw Silk, himself looking exposed since landing a Cartmel handicap hurdle on his penultimate start, is likely to fight out the minor money with the Ian Williams runner. The vote here though goes to Angels Venture.
