In a ridiculously open handicap that ends the card CAPTAIN KALLIS is looking dangerously well weighted so just gets the call over Nabeeda, who should reverse form on Albero Di Guida. Having slipped to a career low mark the pick has gone close under heavier burdens in the recent past. He showed he still has what it takes with a spark of form last time and if able to build on that he could win in this company for the first time. Nabeeda is consistent enough and looks booked to run his race again. He found just Albero Di Guida too good on his penultimate run but this time the weights favour Mel Brittain's runner. Since that win Albero Di Guida has been solid in two starts whilst leaving the impression he'll need a mark reprieve before scoring again. Scruffy Skip, Owed and Kingsgate Castle all have chances under their current weights but in a tricky race the clues lead us to conclude that Captain Kallis is the one to salute.
