Not the strongest of races on paper and CROSBY JEMMA is our answer to the puzzle with King's Majesty and Schinken Otto respected. The selection has had plenty of recent experience around here and while she does lack size, this is her trip and she should give another fair account. King's Majesty bids to give Tim Pitt a welcome winner. The handicapper does at least appear to be finally loosening the tight grip that he has had on him for quite some time. Schinken Otto does appreciate fast ground and while his best days are probably behind him, today's two miles on fast ground should be to his liking. Sir Liam is relatively unexposed over hurdles and has warmed up for this engagement with a recent spin on the flat. Isabel Tompsett has caught the eye on a couple of occasions in similar events and she has been booked by Evan Williams to partner Itsawindup. The Elnadim gelding will be having his first visit to the racecourse for the best part of the year. Sophisticated Lady is no great shakes though Neil King had a winner the other day and rider, Gina Andrews, is perhaps one of the better lady pilots around at present. Winged Farasi may just be at his best on a softer surface. Crosby Jemma has conditions to suit this afternoon and she secures the nod in our opener.
