Vilamoura is sure to go well here after shaping up well on his debut at Lingfield, but the confident vote goes to Lizhar who has been knocking on the door and running consistently of late and looks ready to break his duck. The selection has found one too good on each of his last two starts but he holds solid claims based on his second at Southwell behind Vikings Bay on his penultimate start. That form has since been franked in impressive fashion by the winner, so Lizhar could take a good deal of beating here. Vilamoura is the obvious danger after running well on his debut behind Khabfair in a race where the first three home finished a long way clear of the rest of the field. Of the rest, Penthesilia is a well-bred filly and hails from a shrewd yard so has to be respected, but Vilamoura and Lizhar look to be the two to concentrate on here and the confident vote goes to the latter.
