Verdict

Contagious is the choice here with Bookiesindexdotcom and Pure Folly the others for the shortlist. The selection made a promising debut behind Go Between at Yarmouth last month and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough here. She stayed on well on that day, and looked to be a filly to follow, so she is the confident choice here providing she takes to the surface. Bookiesindexdotcom might be good enough to take a place, although she has been largely disappointing to follow. However, she does have plenty of racecourse experience and may be able to put that to good use here, even if she has looked like one that might be going the wrong way. Pure Folly is more likely to be the one to trouble our selection on her racecourse debut and any market support for this filly should be noted. She is related to several six furlong winners and Sir Mark Prescott is more than capable of readying a filly to win first time out in this company. Of the rest, Desert Light and Sir Jasper will be interesting if they are supported in the market, but in a moderate race, Contagious is the confident choice.
