This is another open race in which Jacaranda gets the vote, with the main dangers likely to be Blonde En Blonde, Hov and Flowerdrum. The selection ran a cracking race behind Convex last time at Warwick and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. That was his best performance for some time so now that he has rediscovered his form he may be worth following. Hov looks the main danger and ran well at Haydock behind Sarraaf last month. He is a course and distance winner and has the assistance of the talented young claimer Sam Hitchcott on board. Blonde En Blonde could represent a bit of each-way value and she ran well behind Zarzu last time and is a consistent sort. Flowedrum has obvious claims as she has generally been running well but she was disappointing last time and that would have to be ignored if she is to be supported here. A competitive race in which Jacaranda is taken to confirm his recent return to form.
