RIDLEY DIDLEY was only narrowly denied last time and it looks worth sticking with Noel Wilson's 4-year-old who can get the better of Lithaam and Spoof Master. The selection was reported to have been working well at home prior to his reappearance run at the end of last year when he was collared close home by Lithaam. He might have won that day if he had been given a more aggressive ride, he has since been out and gone close again behind Nickle Silver and on these terms he can reverse form with Lithaam. The last mentioned does have Robert Winston taking over from Jack Dean today, but Dean is good value for his claim so it may not necessarily help his cause. Spoof Master ran well for a long way last time out and he gave notice that he might be ready to take his turn, so he is certainly respected. Reg Hollinshead continues to have his string in good form so Helping Hand should not be dismissed lightly, although he was disappointing at Wolverhampton last time. This is an open race and we will side with Ridley Didley as our choice.
