A typically trappy handicap in which few stand out but ASIAN POWER is chanced at the principal expense of Leading Edge and Bertie Southstreet. Granted, Asian Power is not a prolific winner by any stretch of the imagination but he is coming down the weights steadily and his last run was at least encouraging. Leading Edge is fresh from a recent success at the track. She had Maybe I Wont well behind when the pair met last time. Bertie Southstreet seems to have been campaigned as a five furlong performer but its worth noting that in the past, he had raced up to distances of a mile. The booking of Jim Crowley is a positive. Sendreni hails from a shrewd yard so is watched in the market. Capefly has had only limited appearances at the track and this will be a first run since April. Namu has won twice at Kempton though it remains to be seen as to whether she will be so effective going this way around. Obe Royal has plummeted down the weights though not without good reason. Splash The Cash is sure to be popular with Jamie Spencer aboard this evening. Asian Power gets the vote.
