      Verdict

Kassiodor needs a market check on his debut but we'll surely see him doing better in handicaps and the one to be on here is LAND AND SEA. Barry Hills has a high percentage, profit making strike-rate with his runners at the track and his filly is bred to go on the surface, which really looks to be the only concern. Rated 68, she has more than enough ability to pick up an average maiden and with the drop in trip expected to prove beneficial she's hard to oppose. Olney Lass should also enjoy this trip and is rated only 5lbs inferior to our selection; she's considered the one most likely to pick up the pieces should Land And Sea prove an expensive failure with Plenty O'Toole and Hambleton needing to improve for trying first-time headgear.
