Course winners Ponting, Castle Myth, Byron Bay and Kladester are all considered now returning to their favoured surface but we're prepared to chance EXOPUNTIA. Julia Fielding's filly is a soft-ground turf winner who promises to enjoy the unique test offered by this surface and when that's coupled with her mildly progressive profile she becomes appealing as an each-way choice. The filly would probably prefer a mile but she's handicapped to go close if reproducing her best and gets the vote from Zarius. Chris Wall's charge is unexposed having had just the four starts and he showed his first real sign of ability when staying on at Yarmouth, so if he can bring that to Fibresand then a big run is likely.
