Gower Sophia and Dimaire share the same official rating which puts them clear in this field but it may be worth siding with KUMMEL EXCESS. She showed next to nothing on her debut but left that form behind when running on strongly to finish a close fourth. That form alone entitles her to respect but she's unexposed and open to plenty of improvement as she tackles a surface that her dam won on three times. Gower Sophia was playing the bridesmaid for the fourth time in ten starts when second at Catterick and deserves due reward for her consistency. Her day may well come but she's clearly vulnerable whilst she disappointed on her previous visit to the track when wearing blinkers for the first time. Dimaire's mark shot up after a good run at Ffos Las but she has earnt her position in the rankings with decent efforts subsequently. She's clearly not a world beater though and is another that looks vulnerable. Clear Ice runs well here so merits consideration whilst the newcomers need a market check but we'll be siding with Kummel Excess.
