We open with an intriguing conditions race where recent good form is in short supply so although Anmar can go well for a yard enjoying a purple patch and Philatelist should go close on these terms on his preferred surface we're going to side with the best in at the weights - PACHATTACK. Gerard Butler's filly has been given some tough assignments this season but went really close to landing a listed event over this trip at Newmarket on her latest start. That form has been well advertised by one she beat that day and given she should act on the surface, she looks to have terms in her favour. Anmar makes a belated seasonal bow and was outclassed in Group company the last time we saw Godolphin's runner. Prior to that, he did go close in a listed race so he does look a danger. Philatelist is back on his preferred surface after some poor efforts on turf and has the ability to win a race like this while Emma Lavelle's Rajamand must have shown something at home to be thrown in at this level on his just his third start. A good quality race to start with then and Pachattack can take advantage of some good looking terms.
