It's fair to say that LOYAL ROYAL isn't always the easiest horse to predict but there was a lot to like about the way he scored last time so we'll take Milton Bradley's runner to follow up with Agnes Love making some appeal based on some recent good starts and Rio Royale could be a good each-way play if returning to something like his best. Scoring for just the third time in 47 starts last time the selection was impressive when staying on to take the spoils at Wolverhampton. His course record doesn't exactly make inspiring reading but if in the mood again his weighted to follow up. Agnes Love is a lot more consistent than the pick and followed victory with a good run in defeat under a revised burden last time. He's a pound lighter this time and has a good record here but he looks best over the minimum trip. Rio Royale has been tumbling down the weights for a reason but at nine pounds better off than when last getting in front he remains in consideration for a place while Desert Strike looks a danger on his return to these ranks under his current burden. Another wide open race that can go the way of Loyal Royal if he's in the same mood as his last start.
