In a very weak handicap we think that VALKYRIE can make consistency count and get the better of Bedarra Boy and Private Equity. After finding a longer trip a bit too much of a stamina test last time, the selection still managed to make the frame for the third run in a row. She's down three more pounds to a career low mark for that latest start and she can take this weaker contest. Bedarra Boy hit some form to find just one too good in a novice hurdle last time and has finished placed the last time he was seen on the level. He looks off a good mark if he builds on that last run but this step down in trip is not an obvious plus. Private Equity has been fairly progressive in a couple of runs in plating class this season and isn't weighted out of a challenge while Very Distinguished is another for the shortlist after a better run last time. Not a race that will live long in the memory but Valkyrie can hatch a winning plan.
