A heady mix of winning but inconsistent characters so we side with EDAS though Mustajed and Boundless Prospect are sure to have their followers. John Quinn's charge has proved reluctant on more than one occasion but he was visually impressive at Southwell on his latest outing and a repeat of that under a 6lb penalty can suffice. Mustajed was unquestionably much better than any of his rivals a couple of seasons ago. A spell of poor form led to his dropping down the handicap and he won an amateur riders event at Lingfield in some style last week. He now needs to prove that he can act at Southwell. Boundless Prospect wins in his turn and seemed to appreciate a step up in trip to 1m4f at Wolverhampton. Today's 1m3f will test all his reserves of stamina. Onemoreandstay makes a debut for Michael Squance having previously landed a maiden at the track for another trainer. Eseej was slightly disappointing last week but could be capable of better. Mambo Sun was a consistent sort over a mile for Paul Blockley though doesn't necessarily appeal over today's trip. Jackie Kiely has had his moments of glory around here but was given a welcome winter break following two below par runs in the late autumn. Not a race to have the housekeeping on and Edas is taken to follow up his recent success.
