CAPRIO is the pick in a trappy affair although Smarty Socks and Captain Macarry cannot be ruled out. The former Roger Charlton inmate probably didn't achieve all that was expected from him but his trainer has been sending out the winners of late and it is to be hoped that he can work the oracle with this talented yet highly frustrating individual. A recent second at the course suggests that he is able to cope with the fibresand. Smarty Socks is a previous winner at the course although the market must be watched in order to see whether he is fit enough to win this after almost three months off the track. Captain Macarry appeared a tad disappointing when finishing behind Nightjar at the course last time out. The form has been given a substantial boost by the Johnson inmate since. Boss Hog represents an in-form yard and has placed on three recent occasions at the Nottinghamshire track. Flores Sea can be forgiven for needing the run whilst Tri Chara was understandably clobbered for beating our selection when they last met and it's no certainty that he can uphold form on this occasion. Caprio is the call in a race where plenty have chances.
