MY MATE MAL gets the vote in the finale with Sularno and Kimono My House rated as the main dangers. The selection is a lightly-raced type and he was the subject of strong market support before winning in comfortable fashion at Yarmouth last time when he beat Comrade Cotton. He is clearly progressive and a 6lbs penalty is unlikely to stop him. Sularno is a course and distance winner but the handicapper has appeared to have his measure of late and on that basis he looks opposable. Kimono My House loves it here and she wasn't beaten far when fourth behind Dan Chillingworth last time. She has a capable apprentice on board and she could give our selection the most to think about. Dasheena has been running consistently well and she was not disgraced here last time. The yard are in fair form and she should be thereabouts at the finish. My Mate Mal looks to be on an upward curve and he can win again.
