This hunter chase is poor on quality and Was I Right is a speculative nomination despite disappointing at Newcastle last time after showing some promise over the course in a similar contest over much further than today. Briscoe Place would have been much superior to these in his hay day and showed up for a long way on his last outing between the flags. More will be required to land this though. Stroom Bank is another that would enter calculations based on recent form between the flags but producing on the racecourse is a different matter and Was I Right gets the vote to land the finale.
