Our Jim performed poorly on unfavourable ground conditions at Carlisle when appearing to be well treated but was an impressive winner at Hereford on his penultimate outing and with him remaining open to improvement we will put him forward. It is possible the step back to 2 1/2 miles did not suit Our Jim at Carlisle. Matmata De Tentron, Seize and Izzykeen are the dangers. Matmata De Tentron four victories have been achieved in stamina sapping conditions so with that in mind we will pass him over having previously disappointed on quicker surfaces. Seize beat the highly the regarded The Accordian Man in a Southwell maiden hurdle recently, that contest appearing an above average novice hurdle for the venue. He was an exposed maiden but had displayed some promise. Sue Smiths' yard having been firing in the winners of late and Izzykeen is amongst those having scored over the course towards the end of last month. This is the longest distance he has tackled but indications are that it should play to his strengths. Our Jim is taken to put the disappointment of Carlisle behind and return to the winners enclosure.
