    Verdict

QUEEN OF DIAMONDS has to be the one here after a resounding, eased-down, success at Cartmel last time. Trainer Kate Walton has got the mare in great form this summer and she was always in control of things last time out, so with conditions to suit again, defying a 7lb penalty looks well within her compass. Kinfayre Boy has been running well in selling company, but this is not a hot handicap and another good performance is anticipated. Baarrij has trip and ground to suit and is in good form in context, so she can get closely involved, while Red O'Donnell will appreciate the return to this trip and might make the frame again. Queen Of Diamonds can reign supreme here. (Jonathan Doidge)
