A poor race where MUCHO LOCO is selected to get the better of Moon Melody and Monroe Gold. Before lumping on, consider that Mucho Loco has not looked an easy ride in the past, and his attitude has even been questioned by his trainer Roger Curtis. However, there was nothing wrong with his demeanour when winning at Huntingdon in the spring. With conditions to suit and feshened up from a break, we are hopeful that he has turned the corner now. Moon Melody won a similar race at Cartmel recently and that ended a long losing run. A penalty won't help him follow up here but in such a dire race he can get heavily involved. Chukchi Country has already won a 2m 4f chase here and will be much better for a pipe opener at Sligo last month, so he is respected. C&d winner Bobansheil looks to be a bit of a madam and we will give her the swerve, while Monroe Gold just looks a tad too high in the weights. In the hope that he'll behave we'll put forward Mucho Loco here. (Jonathan Doidge)
