        Verdict

        Well Armed is a prolific winner who won't go down without a fight but ALBERTUS MAXIMUS finished only a length behind the favourite at this track last time and can reverse form here. The selection was doing all of his best work at the finish there and with a stronger pace likely at the weekend, his late charge could be hard to repel. Mast Track would have been interesting but an injury scare earlier in the week tempers enthusiasm.
