BORDER PATROL can see off Spring Of Fame and Bridge Of Gold. The son of Selkirk won impressively at Newbury over six furlongs but he has won over this trip and in that sort of form, he will prove a very tough nut to crack. Spring Of Fame ran second in the Kentucky Derby trial before finishing third in listed company at Newmarket. The second in that contest has come out and won since. Bridge Of Gold won on debut at Newbury. The time figure wasn't the best on the day and he would need to improve. Everynight needs to build upon a disappointment at Newmarket. Ashram was well beaten in the 2,000 Guineas. Rackateer went into many notebooks when obliging in the Esher Cup but now is the acid test. Yorksters Girl needs a deluge of rain in order to be competitive. Border Patrol appears best.
