A Group 2 race to start the Flat-race proceedings and, in it, we will side with Jeremy ahead of Final Verse and Road To Love. Jeremy looked a genuine Group 2 performer when landing the Jersey Stakes last season and, if in that type of form and with Frankie Dettori booked to ride for Sir Michael Stoute, he has to go well and is our favoured option. Areyoutalkingtome has had a very good winter but looks vulnerable over today's trip. Babodana probably would not want conditions too quick. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Final Verse's Newmarket return behind the impressive Manduro was promising and his stable is in good form, while Jedburgh's Lennox Stakes second at Goodwood last season gives him claims. Road To Love's Group 3-placed efforts of last season afford him respect, while Royal Power's Nad Al Sheba efforts of late afford him respect too. In fairness, Take A Bow probably needs to step up what he has achieved so far, while Bahia Breeze falls into the same category, although she did look an improved performer towards the end of last season. Once again, though, the selection is Jeremy.
