Sir Michael Stoute's First of Many is likely to be a warm order in the finale with Pat Eddery booked. On the face of it, his form didn't look outstanding as a two-year-old but the winner of his sole appearance went on to take the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac Royal Barriere at Longchamp later in the season. Stoute has a 25% strike rate with his three-year-olds this term and this horse is likely to start odds-on today. Pagan Dance finished second in an early-season Newbury maiden albeit in a slow time. Amanda Perrett has sent out five winners in the last two weeks and this horse could give the favourite something to think about. Imbibing has been running well in handicaps but found it happening all too quickly in the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot last time out.
