    Verdict

John Dunlop's Keetchy has been the market buzzer on a number of occasions this term but he is proving an expensive horse to follow. The visor and Pat Eddery have been applied today so it will up to punters to decide as to whether this smacks of desperation or if all systems will be go. Muhareb heads the weights and Clive Brittain's horse will be looking to make all under Jimmy Quinn. He led the Queens Vase at Royal Ascot for a long way before the petrol ran out but this is a shorter trip and the opposition is not so hot. Alrida has been plying his trade at the less glamorous tracks and is in good heart at present. This is his toughest task yet. Treasure Trail steps up in trip today but on breeding this doesn't look to be a major concern. The Kirk stable are in form and he could potentially be unexposed. Murzim has tended to run a little too keenly in his races and will need to settle in order to take a hand in proceedings.
