      Verdict

      Johan won last month’s Lincoln but, along with Sunray Major, finished behind Rhoscolyn in a handicap at Ascot in October on similar terms. The latter was beaten almost four lengths by Mutasaabeq on his reappearance at Thirsk and may be aiming too high here. Lights On made good progress last year but ALCOHOL FREE (NAP) is a dual Group 1 winner racing in a Group 2 without a penalty and is difficult to oppose.
