Verdict

Herewegohoney, a winning point-to-pointer, made all for a convincing victory over the trip at Doncaster. She has a penalty to carry as does Maid On The Moon, who defied a last-flight error to score over the distance at Huntingdon. Methodtothemagic was returning from a very long break when making a very encouraging hurdling debut at Uttoxeter but the form pick has to be the four-year-old LA RENOMMEE. Richard Newland's recruit from France has been racing in much stronger company and was beaten less than two lengths in a Grade 3 fillies' race at Cheltenham last week. Lady Pacifico was engaged in the 5.23 Taunton yesterday.
