This is wide-open, so bring your pin but the vote goes to Green Manalishi ahead of Out After Dark and Khabfair. The selection comes here seeking a straight hat-trick of wins and, even though having been raised a further seven pounds for the most recent of them, comes here in good heart and is a course and distance winner. Khabfair showed a bit more sparkle last time and is now back to a more competitive mark, so could go well, while Smokin Beau, another course and distance winner, goes well in his turn. The Stewards Cup fifth Out After Dark gets a big shout, in fact it was a spin of a coin between him and the selection. It would be foolish to say we are confident but, with many of the others needing career bests or, at least, a fair bit better than their best more-recent runs, we return to the in-form Green Manalishi as the selection.
