Always Baileys gets the vote here ahead of Ocean Pride and Royal Power. Always Baileys won well at Goodwood last time, and a five pounds ratings rise might not stop him from going well again, particularly as you know he will like the going. Given that Ocean Pride is three pounds better off for the length he finished behind him in fourth that day, he too is high on the shortlist of possibles. Royal Power has earned his rating after some solid and consistent efforts, and he is not ruled out even off topweight. King Malachi has not quite built on earlier reputation and promise but first-time blinkers make him interesting, although he was beaten in a first-time visor last time. Zafantage might prove best of the lighter weights, although Blue Manruna remains capable of better. However, the vote stays with Always Baileys.
