Portodora has the form to land this handicap at the expense of Lindoro and Barons Court. The selection won on her third outing at Chepstow last month in a fillies maiden race. She has performed well in both her previous outings and still looks on the upgrade. The handicapper has given her what looks like a sensible mark to start her handicap career and with that in mind she is worth staying on the right side of. Lindoro had plenty of experience as a two year old last season winning on his debut but was then thrown in the deep end in some top quality races such as the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. He was disappointing on his return this season but shaped better when winning at Thirsk last time out after being dropped in the weights and as a result has been put back up six pounds which will now make life tougher for him. Barons Court will be another to note as he is unexposed. He won a maiden in the winter at Kempton and shaped well when second to Prince Hamlet at Musselburgh on his seasonal reappearance so is one for the short list. But for the winner we return to Portodora.
